Maria Engström

Maria Engström is Professor of Nursing and Head of Research at the Department of Health and Caring Sciences, University of Gävle, and Associate Professor of Caring Sciences at Uppsala University, Sweden. Her research focuses on elderly care and health-promoting working life, with focus on health and well-being and the development and evaluation of health-promoting interventions for older adults, healthcare staff, and nursing students. She is actively engaged in international research collaboration, working with partners in China and across Europe.
