Ann Gardulf (RN, PhD) is Associate Professor at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. She is one of the founders of the NPC Research Project and she was the President during 2007-2015. She is an acknowledged world leader researcher in the field of subcutaneous IgG treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiencies. Her further main research areas are patient-reported outcome measures and evaluations of educational interventions in chronic diseases, safety, quality and competence measures in health-care and internationalization and conflict management. She is one of the founders and an active member of the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies. In addition she is Affiliated Professor at the Red Cross Institute for Humanitarian Studies in Tokyo, Japan.
