Janeth Leksell (RN, PhD) is Associate Professor in nursing at Dalarna University, Falun, Sweden. Her research areas are diabetes related nursing with focus on the development of patient-reported outcome measures, evaluations of educational interventions, and national evaluation of diabetes nurses´ role in primary care. She is the program director for diabetes nursing education at Uppsala University. In addition she is a board member of the Swedish association for diabetes specialist nurses (SFSD).
