Maria Larsson (RN, PhD) is Professor in Nursing at Karlstad University, Karlstad, Sweden. Her main research areas are nurse-led cancer care, symptom management, quality care in cancer care and palliative care and professional competence. She is an active member of the Swedish Association for Nurses in Cancer Care.
